Photographs of NH Krystal Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta's original resort, NH Krystal Puerto Vallarta has a unique Mexican charm with colonial-style décor. Isolated from the busy congestion, but only a few minutes away from the airport and downtown, this family resort is one of the largest complexes in the city, and has one of the nicest beaches in the area. For weddings, the resort has a number of options for ceremony and reception sites. Its 7 Columns site offers a spectacular view of Bandaras Bay with Puerto Vallarta in the background. This is a great choice for larger groups who want to enjoy all the amenities of a large-scale resort, but still be in close proximity to the city. The following photos were taken during a June 2006 site inspection of the hotel. For more information visit www.nh-hotels.com.

7 Columns
7 Columns – the resort’s main ceremony site. Beautiful ocean view, with a view of the city in the background. Often ceremonies are held during the sunset. Area is very large and could accommodate hundreds of guests. For weddings the hotel can decorate the walkway with candles. Pool area is quite busy, but apparently usually quiet for weddings at night. Also possible to have receptions with dinner, dance, and fireworks. Receptions also can be held at the Las Velas bar, overlooking the ocean.

Aqueduct Plaza – a large plaza in the middle of the resort with a beautiful small gazebo for ceremonies. Approximate capacity of gazebo is 10, but area is large around it for larger ceremonies. Dinner can be held at La Noria, a restaurant directly beside the plaza. The plaza itself may also be available for dinner receptions, which is very large accommodating approximately 150 guests. No ocean view, but beautiful area.
